Chinese New Year Festival

Chinese New Year celebration will soon approaching. Everyone is so happy to celebrate this most grandly festival. Nelson keeps asking how many days to go for this festival. Besides, he demanded to have many new clothes like Giselle girl and me. I myself bought a lot of new clothes this year. Still remember I was pregnant last year and don't have much pretty dress due to the weight gain.

Lately, I was so busy for tidy up my sweet home, cleaning and packing for " Balik Kampung" trip. Luckily, my maid arrived and she helps me a lot. I am now very in dilemma because Giselle girl don't like the maid. She will cry aloud when I leave her with the maid just only for 2 minutes. I must make use this festival holidays to let her be friend with the maid, so I can bring Giselle girl back which I mean Giselle girl will not go for Baby Sit anymore. Hopefully, all went well.

Yesterday, we went to Jusco Bandaraya Melaka, which is a new shopping mall in town. It is the biggest shopping complex in Melaka. But, if compare to Kuala Lumpur, it still small and don't have many others branded outlet. Tonight, we will be going out to Jonker Street Melaka to see the biggest Lion troupes in town.

One good news is Nelson had been choose to be the class monitor, I was wondering why the teacher choosed him because he is not really a smart boy. He is so naughty and sometimes make me angry.

School Reopen Day

Nelson had continue schooling from Monday, which is our Malaysia school reopen day. He wakes up early at the morning everyday now. He likes schooling. He always tells me and hubby that he is now entered to the Five Years Old class, sound like love to be the elders one in school.

I had make a mistake before the school reopen day. I didn't check whether his uniform is still fit for him or not. As usual, he wears his 4 years old uniform to school. When he is back home, he told me that " Mummy, my uniform is very tight,I cannot dance well by put up my hands." Only then, I realized that his uniform is really small for him.

The next day, I had ordered another bigger size uniform for him. Besides, he told me that there are 2 others kids also have the same Ben 10 school's bag. So, I need to put a key chain for him. This will be more easier for him to recognize his school bag.

Sob! SOB !

Ten days didn’t update my blog. What I am busy for? Sigh!!! My study room is loaded with plenty of works. I am so scare to sit inside the room because don’t know which to start first and when will all the works being done.

This month I am so busy attending my course every Sunday in Kuala Lumpur. Last Saturday, I had gone shopping at the Mid Valley Megamall, but buy nothing. SOB! SOB! So sad! The shopping mall is so crowded and all the car park was fully occupied. We waited outside for chance; luckily we rounded inside the car park, zone C and waited for about 20 minutes to get a car park.

I didn’t bring Giselle along because I wish to have some shopping time for myself but I still need to help my youngest sister to look after her daughter, my youngest niece. She is quite naughty too, doesn’t want to sit in her stroller, wanted to walk with us, running here and there. So, end up I didn’t done much shopping.

Yesterday was the Winter Solstice Festival. I helped my mom for making glutinous rice ball. Nelson loves this festival celebration so much because he likes eating glutinous rice ball mix with ginger soup. There will be no countdown for Christmas Eve in Portuguese Settlement, Melaka this year. So, we will not going to visit the settlement this year.

Lastly, I am here to wish my entire buddy to have a merry Merry Christmas and the Happy New Year! Wish all of you have a healthy body and happy life in the following year.

8 Months Old.

Giselle is turning 8 months old today. She is now likes to try solid food like bread, biscuit and soup. She can sit steadily but sometime may fall down if she try to grab something she wanted. My hands will feel pain on every Monday because I need to hug her during the weekend. Do you know why? She is now a 11 kg baby girl. She is a big big girl. I already gave away her "M" size diaper and now the "L" size diaper also seems tight for her.

Last Saturday, when we have our dinner, a stranger try to talk to her. After a few minutes, she cried loudly. This aunty is quite "KPC" because she said Giselle should keep fit during her adult age and mentioned that she is too fat.

She is now able to mention "mum mum" ( food ) is not "Mummy" and can ask " Pa Pa". She is our sweet heart and dear princess.

Weekend Activity.

Two days didn’t touch the computer. Two days didn’t reply all my lovely mail. Why? I also doesn’t know what had happen? Maybe the poor networking or my computer had already old enough?

Hubby and I had attended a training last Sunday in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. During my trip, I had only spent 30 minutes to have a cup of coffee and some toast in Sunway Pyramid. When I was there, I really can feel the Christmas celebration is around. All the decoration is so beautiful and really attractive. I found a new fun activity there, we have chances to see the dolphin and sea lions show near Sunway Pyramid.

My dad and my mom do follow me because they need to help me to look after Nelson. We sent them to my younger sister house near Subang. So, how about Giselle? I sent her to the nanny house. It’s really hard for me to attend any classes now because nobody takes care of my kids.

The duration of the course is 3 months. So, I had planned to bring Giselle to Kuala Lumpur this week because the nanny have to go to Singapore for her holidays trip. Just scare she can’t be familiar with new places and make noise there.

Latest Kid's Ride

During my last trip going back to my hubby hometown, we only have a short trip to BP Mall. My niece, Qi Qi said this a new ride for kids. It's strawberry in shape. The colours too are very attractive. It's expensive, RM 3 for each child. This rides ended in about 5 minutes time.

As for me, not doing much shopping because I have to look after Giselle. Since the Christmas is coming soon, I do hope to have a shopping trip to Kuala Lumpur. Nelson and Giselle already have many new clothes for the coming Chinese New Year, so I only need to purchase some fancy dress for myself.

When mention about Christmas, everybody moods is so happy and full of joy. We can hear Christmas songs everywhere, a lot of pretty decoration too can cheer up our mood. This month will full of activities to go through, I think I will perm my hair soon. Woman hair is always not much changing, either straight hair or perm hair.

Very soon, the year 2009 will be ended. Is there still have any important thing you buddies haven't done? It will soon be the start of the new year.

Olympic Mathematics

Have you ever hear about Olympic Mathematics? Olympic Mathematics is now very famous in Kuala Lumpur and Johor. Olympic Mathematics is a useful Mathematics subject which can help students to think logically in Mathematics. This sure will help all the students when they step into secondary school or higher level of education.

Not all the students have chances to go through this subject, only the selected and the talented will have chance. Actually, this is quite unfair to those who are weak. They still have chance to learn it but till they reach higher level of this program, they will automatically give up because maybe their talented is not in learning Olympic Mathematics.

Olympic Mathematics is an international Mathematics. Every year, there are many competitions for students to take part. If they are really good, the company will send them to compete in foreign country. They are quite a number of students who already get scholarship studying at Singapore. So, how about the fees? I think it’s reasonable in this new globalization era.

Learning Olympic Mathematics is definitely better in learning mental arithmetic. If your children have the chance to go follow the lesson, don’t miss it. Hopefully this Olympic Mathematics will help our kids in learning Mathematics.

Maid, REALLY?

After struggle for a few months, I finally made up my mind to employ a maid. The agent said the Cambodia maid is much better than Indonesia one. So, we decided to have the Cambodia maid. The agent said we still need to teach the maid about 2 months and teach her some simple English. I am scare that she won’t take good care of my little princess.

It’s so hard to make this decision because everything has the advantages and disadvantages. If so, I no need to do so many household chores such as mopping, washing and so on. On the other hand, I will lose my freedom. I need to be at home every second or bring her and my girl for outing. In this, I really feel jealous with those who stay with their mom or mother-in-law. That is why we called them as “golden ages”.

In my sweet home, hubby and I have to settle everything by ourselves, we have no guidance from the elderly. Sometimes, really feel unconfident in doing something. After few more years, I think we will transfer back to Batu Pahat. I think I will miss my hometown everyday if this idea comes true.

Friday Night !

Last Friday night, we went to Jonker Walk, Malacca. Everything seems so fresh and new to me since I had never been there for a long time. We had our dinner there. We had ordered a Nyonya Laksa and Rendang Wan Tan Mee. Besides, we had a bowl of Nyonya cendol. Three of us share a bowl of Nyonya Cendol because the weather is so cool lately and I don’t really hope Nelson to have too much cool stuff. The taste of my food is indescribable. Yummy and tasty. Quite a long time I didn’t eat ice cendol because it’s high in cholesterol.

Many may wonder why I am so free to go there. It’s because the school holidays is approaching and all my students had stop their tuition class. So, I have to spend some quality time for myself after I gave birth to Giselle. Sure I need to prepare all the notes and exercises for next year syllabus during my holidays.

There are many stall selling pineapple tarts and ladies accessory. I had purchased 3 pair of homemade earrings for myself and a small beautiful hair pin for my little princess, Giselle. Actually, I planned to buy a pair of special homemade slipper but the price is too expensive.

7 Months Old !

Happy 7 months old to my Princess Giselle. We dote her a lot because she is the only daughter I have. She is really big in size. She is now learning to crawl. It's cute to see her push her thigh in front.

Giselle loves to grab things now. This makes me recalled an incident happen last two week. When we have our dinner at a restaurant, she immediately grab a piece of chicken from my plate of rice. Thank God it's not a hot soup, if not sure she will get hurt. She has two teeth now, so the nanny is trying to give her some solid food.

Since she is teething, I had bought some teething biscuit for her to bite. But, I think she doesn't like the biscuit because she will always throw it on the floor after get hold of it. Why? I am wonder. Is that the weird taste of the biscuit? She likes biting and gnawing every toys she gets. At night, she can't sleep well, I think it's maybe the pain of teething make her feel uncomfortable.

Time really flies! She will turn 10 months old during this coming Chinese New Year.

Raining Season

Due to the rain, many of us especially me the lazy type feel unwanted to involve in too much work such as cooking, ironing and so on. When thinking to blog, feel scare of the thunder which can spoil my computer. When thinking of going out to shop, feel frustrated to carry an umbrella. Besides, it's so boring to hang out the wet clothes, seems like still wet even it's outside the whole day.

Human is always so greedy. We always blame to have a hot weather here when it's a sunny day. But, we still feel dissatisfied during the rainy day. What we want actually? If there is a thunder, Nelson will feel scare because he is chicken hearted. He will come to sit beside me and didn't dare to sleep alone.

What can we do during a rainy day? I would like to have a cup of hot coffee or hot chocolate. Since the TV channel is not clear, it's better to browse a magazine or book.

I HATE This! Do you?

I HATE this. I really HATE this. I always hate the guard who tie up my plastic bag with a cable tie. I think this is useless. Can’t they use their common sense that we still can steal goods although our bag is being tie up?

Actually, I didn’t plan to go shopping yesterday night. Due to the heavy rain, we have a trip to Giant Hypermarket. Hubby and I just hope to browse some magazines at the book shop after our dinner. Really don’t understand why they like to do this stupid thing just to upset their customers. It’s hard for me to tear it off and this will also make the plastic bag cry loudly when I use a scissors to cut it off.
