Busy Unbearable Week !

I was so busy this week, so sorry for not updating my blog and visit to all your blog recently.

I was almost devastated because my two little kids had fall sick. Giselle had to take a special formula milk powder because she is down with diarrhea. So, how about Nelson? He got high fever for almost a week. The doctor asked him to admit because his fever is 39.8 Celsius. When the doctor mentioned this, tears rolled down from his cheek and shaked his head saying “Don’t want”. Hubby and I took turn to feed him medicine and make sure he is in comfortable situation. It’s not easy to be a parent to a kid nowadays.

Luckily, Giselle’s nanny is good and looks experience in handling kid’s problem. I only visit her yesterday and she looks well now. I only dropped by a few minutes because I scared she got affected by Nelson’s viruses. Nelson had not been to the school for a week and hopefully he can start schooling next week.

After we went back from the Giselle’s nanny house, I told Nelson that Giselle loves his “kor kor” so much because she keeps smiling to Nelson. I told him that it’s a type of encouragement because “mei mei” hopes his “kor kor” will get well soon.

Through this, I cultivate Nelson to love his sister forever and always protect her in danger. I asked him, “ if mei mei being catch by stranger or evil, will you help her?” His answered is really funny because he said he will called the “ ULTRAMAN” immediately. Haha!

Nelson's Collection

I bought this Ben 10 suit for Nelson from the market. The price is really cheap if compare to the shopping centre one. He likes it so much. He already order a Ben 10 birthday cake and Ben 10 school bag from my sister-in-law,they had promised to buy him during his birthday this September. My younger sister too promised to buy him a Ben 10 watch.

These is Nelson Ben 10 DVD and Ben 10 Pencil box. Besides, he also owns many Ben 10 books.

My dear son own 3 pairs of Ben 10 slipper and 2 pairs of sport shoes even he is only a 4 years old kid, so it's normal for women like us who own hundred of beautiful shoes. My hubby always complaint about the quantity of my shoes. Then, I will tell him that Princess Diana also own thousand pairs of shoes and I am only little if compare to her.

Daddy bought Nelson transformer toys from Petronas Station and KFC outlet. He is so happy with the toys and the transformer new t-shirt. The t-shirt is quite big, so I always urge him to eat more rice during his meal time because he likes escape the main meal and always likes to eat titbits. Nelson is now like to make ugly faces while I am taking a photo. He is lazy in doing writing but I don't force him too much as I know that he is only 4 years old. I hope he can own a happy childhood. Am I correct?

Nelson's Favourite!

Do you know what's my naughty son's favourite lately? He likes to visit to Uncle John coffee house every night. He likes eating kaya butter toast and drink coffee. So, it is hard for him to sleep after he had the cup of coffee. He will tell me : " Mummy, I can't sleep." I will always ask him to close his eye and keep dreaming, then he will soon sleep. He likes to lick the kaya butter inside and sure can finish one toast by himself.

Sometimes, I am so lazy and tired to go out. He will feel sad and keep asking why we cannot go out at night and emphasis that he wants eat toast at Uncle John. I tell him that Mummy can make you a cup of coffee too and a piece os toast at home. Do you know what he answer me? He said my homemade coffee and toast is not the same as the Uncle John one. Sigh! small boy also get addicted by this coffee house.

There are almost 4 Uncle John coffee houses in Malacca, the food is quite tasty and the prices are reasonable too. Luckily, my son not get addicted with the coffee at Coffee Bean or Starbuck!

Cheapest Car Wash

Last month, hubby brought us for the RM 1 car wash at Ayer Keroh. At first, I really don't believe him and asked him not to joke because who is going to do this type of business. When we arrived there, the BHP petrol station, we have to queue up for 5 cars in front.

Nelson is so excited because we can sit inside the car during the washing. Every evening, when hubby comes home, Nelson will ask hubby to wash his car at this place.

Is it cheap? Every body can afford and the important is we not need to wash our own car in this hot weather. The boss told us that their business is good because there are over 300 cars to wash every day. See, people charging customer a little also can earn big money, so why there are still so many expensive services in this economy downturn era?

Baby Giselle

Giselle first trip to Jusco. Nelson kor kor likes to adjust the fan here and there since there is air-cond provided, just a busy body. We need to bring a lot of things out, what a big mess! Now, hubby and I had to start all over again just like last time we look for Nelson from the day he born.

She is very boyish, see she put her leg on top of the stroller's desk. This was her first time wearing skirt. I think I need to put a lot of effort to teach her to be a lady like. haha!! She can't sit properly in her pram, she likes to move around without stopping.

Look at my little princess, many people don't believe she is only 6 weeks old. She will be 2 months on on this Sunday, which we need to bring her for second vaccination. During my "balik kampung trip" yesterday, my MIL said she really look like a boy. I had sent Giselle to the baby sitter for day light and night, we only bring her back during the weekend! Sometimes, I really miss her so much but when I look after her during the weekend, it's suffer and tension to feed her every two hours at night.

Nyonya Rice Dumpling

Have you ever try Nyonya Rice Dumpling before? Nyonya Rice Dumpling is an aunthetic food for the Nyonya Baba. Nyonya Rice Dumpling is not only tasty to eat but also let others to know that eating Nyonya Rice Dumpling is a special traditional Nyonya food. I had stood beside the table for almost half an hour just to “steal” some secret in wrapping a Nyonya Rice Dumpling. I think I can’t do that in my future because it’s really a hard job. In this modern era, can you see young adult who know to cook a Nyonya Rice Dumpling? Let me tell you a secret, even my mom also don’t know how to wrap a Rice Dumpling.

According to an aunty ( a Nyonya Rice Dumpling maker), she said it’s not easy to cook this Nyonya Rice Dumpling. It needs a lot of work and time. It’s fast for us to finish a Nyonya Rice Dumpling but it needs to take a long time to prepare the ingredients till it’s ready to eat.

First, we need to wash the bamboo leaves in hot water to get rid the dirt. Cut the lean meat, Chinese mushroom, chestnut, winter melon into small cubes. Fried it by mix in some of the spice which is their secret recipe. The aunty is quite creative because she prepares the ingredients into a ball shape. She said it’s easier and faster for her to cook the Nyonya Rice Dumpling. Dye some of the rice with blue colour. This is not an artificial colouring, the colouring is special cook by using a type of flower called “Lan Hua”. Besides, it’s not easy to wrap the Nyonya Rice Dumpling into the shape. Probably, it needs skill and talent. After tied it up, cook the Nyonya Rice Dumpling in the boiling water for 3 hours with some “pandan” leaves.

I,myself love to eat Nyonya Rice Dumpling if compare to “Bak Chang” which contains fat meat, Chinese mushroom and others. Some even add in an egg yolk inside. This is really a high cholesterol food which we can only eat once in a blue moon.

What to do if you have eaten many pieces of Nyonya Rice Dumpling? We can drink some hot ginger tea to get rid the “wind” in our stomach. We can also drink some hot Chinese tea to reduce the fat.

Want to be SLIM

Finally had finished a busy week after today. Giselle will be back home tomorrow. I miss her so much even I had visited her at the baby sitter’s house every day. Her nanny is a good and loving nanny who is around 50 years old. Luckily I found her.

Her nanny said she is very glutton and need to drink milk on time, two hours for 4 oz. Besides, she also complaint about her loud crying sound which will make people feel tension.

As for me, I still cannot do exercise because the doctor said it’s better to start exercising after 2 months. Until now, I cook the ginger tea every day. My confinement lady said we need to drink the ginger tea until 40 days if we want to slim up our body shape. Is it true? Any others good way to be slim after delivery a baby?

Feel so lazy and tire to work this week. Seem like all the work is so unfamiliar and hard. I think life will be more excited and happy if we just laze around all the day, no need to fight with others to get good result. But, we will feel useless if we didn’t work at the young age. What a dilemma!

My little princess like to smile all the day. On her full moon day, she wore new clothes. Only Papa and Nelson rush back to kampung that day. I had sent her to the baby sitter this morning, feel sad because she is not beside me and I really miss her so much.

Nelson loves his Mei Mei very much. He can help me to feed Giselle and pass me the pampers or others.

My little girl, Giselle only received few gifts from my friends and hubby's friends. Most of them give "Ang Pao" which is the most usefull gift.

My confinement lady had left last Thursday, at first I thought she works for 30 days, but she said they only work for 28 days.

I am Three Weeks Old

My mummy put a small flower clip on my hair because mummy said I look like Nelson kor kor, like a baby boy. After put it on, I took a photo with my naughty kor kor. My kor kor always scolded by mummy maybe because he feels jealous with me, but mummy said she loves both of us and don't be jeolous to each other. If mummy goes to right side, kor kor will follow, when mummy goes to the left side, kor kor too will follow. Sigh!!
Thank you for all your good words, I look like excatly the same like my Nelson kor kor. I will scream loudly when I feel hungry. If you hear my sound, sure all of you will run away and didn't praised me as a pretty girl anymore.

Lastly, I am going to wish all the mummy around the world have a " Happy Mother's Day".

I amTwo Weeks Old !

I took these pictures when my little girl turn two weeks old. After coming back from the phototherapy treatment, her face turn fairer and look more healthy. The scanning of fluorescent lights are so efficient. She will always open her mouth while it's her feeding time.

Malaysia's Doctors

I went follow up with my Gynae yesterday. Pantai Hospital is always so crowded and full of visitors, even the car park is already extended till the uphill, and it’s still fully occupied. Hubby and I heard a conversation between an old lady with a nurse. The aunty complaint about the doctors she had visited before. She said all the doctors only asked her to finish the cough mixture even her coughing is already worst. She also mentioned that all the doctors near her area is only “Small Doctors” (in Hokkien Dialect). She emphasis that it’s better to seek help from the professional doctor and this can save her money and time. The important thing is her coughing can be totally been cure.

Talking about all there “Small Doctors”, I do agree with her. All the doctors in my area are also the same. They just give you medicine to release your pain and doesn’t find out your illness because all the medicine they give won’t harm you. So, if you really feel uncomfortable, seek help from the professional doctor because the consultation fees is the same as the normal doctor and sometimes more cheaper than the lousy doctors.

Like my hubby case, he had visited 4 doctors for his Chicken Pox, the first one said he is only down with flu and light fever. The second doctor is the worst. My hubby had shown him two reddish spot in his neck, but the doctor said that is because of the heat from his body. Oh, no!!! Is he a doctor???

After that, hubby seek help from a traditional doctor which he doesn’t provide any MC to patients. He clarified that hubby is infected by Chicken pox and gave him some Chinese Medicine. So, where to get the MC? Hubby went for another doctor soon. This situation is really frustrated for a sick person. I think we should have awareness to choose a good doctor. As for me, I only see the doctor who I believe in him. I hate those doctors who simply treat the patients.

As a conclusion, can our doctor be more responsibilities? Don’t harm us and harm yourself.

My Confinement Lady

My confinement lady is an expert confinement lady from a special train centre. She is extremely good in cooking. She always forced me to finish all the food. I didn’t dare to eat so much because there are still about 8 kg “fat meats” in my body. After this, I have to work hard to lose my weight which I only wish to maintain my own weight. Since my hubby gets infected by Chicken Pox, she needs to cook lunch for him and my dear son. They can’t eat the same food as mine so she needs to cook many different kinds of dishes. She knows many recipes and she do bring along two recipes books here. She always cooks steam food for me and nutrition soup.

Although she is good in cooking, she is not good in laundry. She doesn’t wash the clothes every day. I think this is her behavior. My hubby always can’t find her short pant and me too always short of face towel or handkerchief. I asked her to put more detergent inside the washing machine while washing because my towel is still smelly.

About taking care of baby, she is full of love and patient. She treats Giselle well and always talks to her. Nelson too loves to play with her, one day I saw Nelson played “Ultraman” with her.

Me, seem like my skin had become fairer because I had been at home for almost 2 weeks and special thanks for my MIL that buying me some “Bird Nest” during my confinement month. This can save my money for doing facial.Times really fly, Giselle girl will soon having full moon 2 more weeks and me too will back to my position. So, better enjoy my life now. Oh! I haven't wash my hair as she not allowed me to do that. I was wondering why my first confinement lady allowed me to wash my hair last time. Who is correct?
