Happy 7 months old to my Princess Giselle. We dote her a lot because she is the only daughter I have. She is really big in size. She is now learning to crawl. It's cute to see her push her thigh in front.
Giselle loves to grab things now. This makes me recalled an incident happen last two week. When we have our dinner at a restaurant, she immediately grab a piece of chicken from my plate of rice. Thank God it's not a hot soup, if not sure she will get hurt. She has two teeth now, so the nanny is trying to give her some solid food.
Since she is teething, I had bought some teething biscuit for her to bite. But, I think she doesn't like the biscuit because she will always throw it on the floor after get hold of it. Why? I am wonder. Is that the weird taste of the biscuit? She likes biting and gnawing every toys she gets. At night, she can't sleep well, I think it's maybe the pain of teething make her feel uncomfortable.
Time really flies! She will turn 10 months old during this coming Chinese New Year.
Due to the rain, many of us especially me the lazy type feel unwanted to involve in too much work such as cooking, ironing and so on. When thinking to blog, feel scare of the thunder which can spoil my computer. When thinking of going out to shop, feel frustrated to carry an umbrella. Besides, it's so boring to hang out the wet clothes, seems like still wet even it's outside the whole day.
Human is always so greedy. We always blame to have a hot weather here when it's a sunny day. But, we still feel dissatisfied during the rainy day. What we want actually? If there is a thunder, Nelson will feel scare because he is chicken hearted. He will come to sit beside me and didn't dare to sleep alone.
What can we do during a rainy day? I would like to have a cup of hot coffee or hot chocolate. Since the TV channel is not clear, it's better to browse a magazine or book.
I HATE this. I really HATE this. I always hate the guard who tie up my plastic bag with a cable tie. I think this is useless. Can’t they use their common sense that we still can steal goods although our bag is being tie up?
Actually, I didn’t plan to go shopping yesterday night. Due to the heavy rain, we have a trip to Giant Hypermarket. Hubby and I just hope to browse some magazines at the book shop after our dinner. Really don’t understand why they like to do this stupid thing just to upset their customers. It’s hard for me to tear it off and this will also make the plastic bag cry loudly when I use a scissors to cut it off.
This will be my new Holiday Fun Eyeglasses soon. I really love the special colour of Burgundy which mixes up with pink colour inside. This is a latest spectacle which can make me look younger and up to date. There are still many New Arrivals for you to choose. Besides, wearing a pair of unique spectacles is so important. You will sure be more success in your career because of your professional look by wearing high quality spectacles. So, what are you waiting for? Go to $8 Prescription Zenni Glasses to choose your favourite eyeglasses.
She has lots of new clothes. Most of it are special courtesy from her "Ta Ku" ( Auntie ). All these baby clothes are so pretty and nice, but I think she can't wear it for long time because she grow up quickly. She is now 10 kg, so worse she can't wear the "M" size pampers anymore.
Her chubby face is really cute. Everytime she goes shopping, many shoppers would like to say "Hi" to her. After looking all their faces, she will soon cry because she still cannot accept strangers.
She loves me to put a handkerchief on her head and likes playing hide and seek with us. She is such a playful baby now. Due to her teething, she is now has light cough. I will miss her every moment especially when I am free. This is the instinct of being a MOM.
Through the budget report 2010 last Saturday, does anyone of you get benefited? If yes, congratulate to you lots. As for me, I don’t think I get any advantage of the budget 2010 because I am only a part time tutor and a housewife. Whatever the decision are, we have to follow but our ideas and suggestions will sure be ignore forever.
Firstly, about the RM 50 service charge for credit card’s holders. This is ridiculous! We need to pay this extra charging even we own credit cards which is free for life. Many of us using credit cards because of convenience. Our government had fixed this rule simply because many youngsters had heavy debts after hold a credit card. So, what is the good way to solve this? RM 50 for those who have many debts is nothing but for me only a housewife, it mean a lot. In this case, the government should educate all the credit card holders to spend wisely. Always remember them to treat their credit cards like cash or fix the numbers of credit cards they have.
Next, it’s about the RM 500 tax deduction for your broadband connection. The amount is so little after much calculates. It this high technology era, I think our government can fix WIFI at every corner. This can certainly encourage everyone including the senior citizen like my parents to use the computer. Last but not least, it will also benefit to all the tourists who visit to Malaysia.
Still remember last year the entire car owners are eligible to get RM 625 as a rebate for the high prices of petrol. This programme should keep on going because everything cost an arm and a leg nowadays. Since our government are afford to do this last year, that means it’s affordable for the coming year.
I would now like to mention about the issues of corruption. To solve this, everybody must work hand in hand. Stricken rules should be imposed. If our government really can solve this hateful problem, the money can be use in better ways such as helping the poor, the disabled and others. Talking about corruption, I recalled a story of my friend. He is such a brave young man. He got a RM 300 fine from the police. He is so smart because he was unwilling to pay the police RM 50 for “ MAKAN SUAP”. I felt proud of him because when the police stopped his car, he straight showed out his license and said : “just give me a fine, I am rushing.” Is it we should follow his good example?
Nelson boy have to attend his third piano lesson at my aunty house today. He loves music from the day he was born. Hopefully he can try his best and follow the lesson well.
Every time he goes there, my aunty will treat him some delicious cookies and others. He is waiting eagerly for Friday to come. So, he is already packing up his bag and his pencil box now.
At first, he refused to go but after much persuasive, he agreed. What is the ways we use to persuade him? We told him that he can learn to play many songs through the lesson. He loves “Happy Birthday” song and said he will play this to his sister during the birthday. Will he???
Giselle had a bad cough yesterday. After checking by the doctor and eat the medicine given, she still coughing. Hopefully, she will turn well soon.
On that day, hubby was busy and don’t have time to fetch us to the clinic. So, I asked Nelson “kor kor” to look after Giselle at the back of the car. I don’t have a car seat on that time because I had borrowed it to my younger sister. So, we maybe will bring Giselle travel to Kuala Lumpur next month to take back the car seat and have a shopping trip there.
When Nelson looked after Giselle at the back of the car, the situation was quite funny. I let Giselle lay down behind, so it will be easy for Nelson to carry her. Nelson don’t know how to comfort his “mei mei” when she is crying. Luckily, the journey to the clinic from the Nanny’s house is just a stone throw.
Since Giselle doesn’t like to lie down, I have to let her sit properly during our journey to nanny’s house. This time, I let Nelson to sit beside Giselle and asked him to hug her tightly. After we arrived at nanny’s house, Nelson told me that his hands were very pain. So, I promised to massage his hands.
This was really a good experience for Neslon and me to learn the ways to cope with difficulties.
Baby girl Giselle turned 6 months old yesterday. Times really flies. Still remembered the moment I was sent into the operation room, full of scared and horror. Sometimes really can't believe that I am that brave.
She is now able to hold things and likes to put everything into her mouth. She likes to listen to "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". Everytime she hears this songs, she will push her thigh, like she is able to dance.
The nanny start feeding her with porridge mix with carrot and potato. She likes it so much. She will cry a little moment after her porridge is finish. Seems a glutton baby girl. Her eyes is too small and she has a flat nose.
Giselle nanny is quite problematic to me. Last Saturday was actually Melaka state holidays. I myself also didn’t realize it until the nanny asks for leave. She told me on the last minutes so it was quite difficult for me to change my entire schedule. I reject her request because I have class on Saturday even though it’s a holidays I also told her I will bring Giselle home early on this Friday because the oncoming Saturday will be Deepavali holidays.
Nowadays, sure enough all of you can see all the nannies have earned a lot of money. As for me, if they charged us with much money, please don’t mind to look after Giselle for half more day. If I myself can look after her during all the holidays which means I don’t have to work sure I will like to look after her myself.
Last year, I already in dilemma whether to employ a maid or a local nanny. Now, I am still facing the same situation. I think it’s better for me to get a maid right now.
Many of us know health is wealth. Besides maintain a balance diet and exercising, most of us will not forget to have other supplements which are good for health. We do these because we hope to live longer in this beautiful world. So, what is your opinion about smoking? Is smoking really badly for health?
Smoking is bad for health because it will cause to illnesses such as bad breath and lung cancer to human. Smoking is not only affect the smoker himself but also the non-smoker. Even many of us have the knowledge about the disadvantages of smoking, there are still many who love to smoke. For those who like to smoke, they always feel that their tension had been released after have a stick of cigarette. Nowadays, it is common to see female smoker everywhere.
Actually, what is the feeling of smoking? If you want to try it, you can have an e cigarette because it is a smoker’s smart choice and it is definitely a new invention for modern smoker.
E cigarettes are better than other traditional cigarettes because it can be refill by using e cig refills. You will never sense any odor if you smoke indoors. Many of you may wonder about e cigarettes. Before you try E-cigarettes, remember to check about the e cigarettes charges.
Travelling is quite tired but is always full of fun. After I gave birth to Nelson, hubby and I seldom go on vacation. This time, in conjunction to attend my hubby’s convocation, we have some time to hang out for 3 days.
Day 1
We arrived at Kedah around 6a.m,Friday morning. We have a short nap in our car because the campus is not yet open. We went there early to collect the cloak. After collecting, we rounded the area searching for food. Unfortunately, not many Chinese foods there. Feeling frustrated and hungry, we finally made up our mind to check-in at Holiday Villa Hotel. There is a small shopping mall beside; we had our brunch there, MacDonald again. So, I had collected the second cola glass. After eating, we went back to our room, taking bath and have a long nap. Nelson was so tires and he is the last to wake up. Since Kedah is not a shopping paradise, we decided to have a swim at the hotel’s swimming pool. This was the first time Nelson learnt how to swim. He enjoyed playing with the water. I myself also is not a good swimmer, so three of us only dump inside the kid’s pool. Luckily, I remembered to bring our swimming suit. After dinner, we only stay at our room for TV shows.
Day 2
After the grand function had ended, hubby said we are better travel to Pinang. So, we check-in at B-suit. This time, feeling happier because there are many shopping complexes. This hotel provided very basic facilities but the room is clean and cosy for customer. Even the room is bigger than the room at Holiday Villa Hotel. Nelson keeps asking to have a swim but there is no swimming pool provided. During our journey to B-suit hotel, we had lost even we own a map to the hotel. Because of tiredness, hubby soon arrived at Queensbay Mall. We had our tea-time there. After asking about the route to B-suit hotel, we soon check-in the hotel. Thank you so much for the salesgirl who is so kind to show us the way to our hotel.
Hmmm, dinner time again. We were lost again at the area, but we reached to a residential area which has a hawker centre. We finally had fine something special to eat. Without any second thought, I had ordered a plate of Fried Koay Teow which is my favourite food. Besides, we had some “satay”, Hokkien Mee, and others. Due to the unfamiliar with the route, we went back to our hotel. We sleep in a full stomach.
Day 3
We had our breakfast at a hawker centre. We check-our earlier because it will be my shopping time at Queensbay Mall. Before going to this destination, we hope to buy some “Tau Sar Pneah” which is a pastry stuffed with a finely blended mix of green beans, sugar and seasoned with a pinch of salt and hint of fried onions. We found the way to Bukit Jambul because there are 2 shops selling these pastries according to the hotel’s receptionist. We reached there at 10:30p.m, the shops not yet open. I was wonder why they are running their business so late. So, we have to spend some time at the Bukit Jambul shopping mall for waiting the shops to open. Very unlucky, the shops still not open till 12:00p.m. So, hubby called the shop dealer, he said that all the pastries had been fully sold. Do you believe?? One of it is Chuan Peng Hiang and the others are Dragon Pearl Biscuit. Can they treat the customer in this way? I think they probably have good business in selling “Tau Sar Pneah” . If a tourist from western country who loves to eat these special pastries “Tau Sar Pneah”, sure they will feel disappointed because our government keeps advertising our country special products to foreign country through the media or the internet. These problems will soon affect our country, Malaysia image. During my shopping trip at Queensbay Mall, I had bought plenty of new clothes from MNA, Nichii , Forever 21 and others. We have the luck to taste Japanese sushi at Sakae Sushi. It’s so special because they provide kid’s meal to children.
Around 5:00p.m, we went to Bukit Tambun for seafood at Gee Seng Restaurant. The dishes here are really mouth watering. The prices too are very reasonable. Fortunately, there is a shop selling “Tau Sar Pneah” here. After eating and buying the “Tau Sar Pneah”, we have our journey back to Melaka. Actually, hubby plans to stay one night at Kuala Lumpur but we cannot make it because I feel so tire and missed my Giselle girl so much. Lastly, we arrived at 11:30p.m at our sweet home.
As a conclusion, I love travelling, if I can keep on travelling every day, every minutes, sure I will remain at 21 years old forever and ever. Even this is only a local trip, but I do appreciate it.
