Batu Pahat !

I will be going back to my hubby's hometown today. Every time going back, I had to do a lot of stuff. To pack for my hubby, my dear son and my own things. Sometimes will forget to bring the important things. I still remember last time I forget to take along my hubby's brief.He got a shocked and asked me about his brief.So, we have to rushed to town and buy it asap.Haha!

When going back to Batu Pahat, we will stay in a Kampung (small village) called Senggarang. His house is surrounded by oil palm estate.Even it's far away from town, about 25 km, the air here is so fresh and the environment is comfortable.

He probably will help my mom-in-law doing some household chores. After this, sure we will go shopping at Batu Pahat. For me, I think that the clothes, shoes there is cheaper than Malacca. This time I am going to shop some more for my Chinese New Year! Do you know what my hubby said? He said :' I see you buying clothes every time, don't you feel bore? I am admire your spirit and the tactics from all the boutique which attract you so much.' So, gals, man is this kind of people. Well,just accept what they said and continued doing what we like.

PMR Result !

The PMR result already out yesterday, some may feel happy because they get good result but some feel sad for their poor result. For me, PMR examinations is only a small exams for students, the real important exams is SPM which can really judge their ability.

In my last post, I had mentioned about my cousin, Amanda who baked the Ginger Bread before. Do you know what result she strike for her PMR? She gets 8As in her PMR. Both her parents are so happy and so proud of her.

The students who get good result probably because they have put in a lot of effort in their study. So, for those who still need to pursue their study should not burn the midnight oil. Do work hard to achieve your dreams!

Ginger Bread !

Nelson loves eating Ginger bread. During the celebration of Christmas, my cousin, Amanda who loves to bake had prepared some Ginger Bread for us. This was her first attempt. Hmmm.... the taste is delicious and good. It's similar with the ginger bread sells at The Coffee Bean. The shape is so attractive. Nelson had ate 6 of this ginger bread.

At first, Nelson will eat the foot part because it had dipped with colorful icing sugar. Next, he ate his hand and then the head. After this, the button which is "Smarties" and last the body.

He cried when my hubby finished half of his ginger bread. He is such a greedy boy. He loves eating. He can't share things with others. From now, I had to teach him the values of sharing.

Fancy food!

I went to Tesco last night. I discovered a new fancy food, that's Donut. All the Donut are so well decorated. There are in pink, orange, chocolate, yellow colours and there are many flavor available such as Mocha, Oreo, Almond and so on.

I thought it's the branchnfrom KL which my sister bought me 1/2 dozen before. According to her, everybody need to queue up for their turn to buy the donut. I don't believe in her because i myself doesn't like to eat donut.

I felt so regret after buying this donut because I realized it's a local made from a bakery shop, is not the KL branch. I didn't finish all the donut because it's too sweet, but Nelson enjoyed eating this fancy donut.

The price is quite expensive also and I probably won't buy it again in my future.

Tricycle - Broken Duck

Nelson has 4 tricycle. Two of it bought by his dear granny, one bought by his aunt and one bought from my hubby during his birthday.

I seldom buy these type of toys for him. For me I think it is useless. So, I usually choose some story book or some educational toys form him. Among the books I bought, one of his picture dictionary is showing the ways to fasten the tyre with the spanner, so he had follow the action by using his duck tricycle. I don't know what equipment he used to take out the screw. The duck tricycle had broken and damaged. I told Nelson that the pity duckling had no more hat to wear and he is crying because he feel pain. Children nowadays are too lucky and don't know how to appreciate their belongings.

He is so interested in mechanical, I think he should be a mechanical engineer next time. Everyone of my friends who came to visit me will think I have 4 children because there are 4 different tricycle around my house.

Flower Thief !

I don't have a green finger at all. I don't even have any free time to watering the plants in my garden. Many Chinese believed that the plant " Fu Kui Hwa" can bring happiness, wealthy and healthy to them. We can see most of the Chinese will have several pots of this type of plant. There are many colour available such as white, pink, red, purple and so on. Some even have mix colour. Look at the picture, this is the only and the prettiest flower in my garden. It was the flower blossoming season.

Last week, my mom told me that she was shocked because one of her favourite plant - hibiscus had missing. Somebody had stole it. Ridiculous! Greenery are now so easy available and the prices are also reasonable. I really don't understand why they still want to steal people belongings.

We called these people as "flower thief". Don't he feel shameful? Don't he respect others? After this incident, it made me recalled what had happen at my house before. I saw an old lady was plucking something outside my car porch. At first, I thought she had lost something and wanted to find back her own things.

I asked :" Auntie, what are you doing there? Can I help You?

Do you know what is the answer?

She said : " I am helping you to get rid of the rank grass".

Do you think so? I think she was taking some plant from my land or maybe she is really so kind to help me cleaned off the grass that are unwanted.

Rewards!!

This is my rewards from Mid Valley Megamall. Most of the things belong to me and it's really lot of fun shopping at KL. I bought some lovely clothes and dresses at Metrojaya. This shopping mall was so crowded yesterday. Even my both legs is sore but it's great. Thanks for my hubby for looking Nelson the whole day and thanks once again for helping me to pay up the bills next month, otherwise I need to save, save , save for my credit card.

Many of you may wondering what my hubby and Nelson done the whole day shopping trip? Both of them just eating, drinking special brew coffee and loitering at the bookshop. My hubby only buy a small dictionary even though they have been there for almost 2 hours.

I went to The Garden also, many shop lot are still not fully occupied.

Holidays

My hubby is on holidays tomorrow. So, we are going for a shopping trip at somewhere else which is 200++ km away from Malacca. So, where will I go tomorrow?
I can't sleep tonight because I am too excited. Shopping is my hobby, it's a good chance for me to buy some new clothes for the Chinese New Year. Sure, I won't forget to bring back some presents to my lovely parents especially my dear daddy.

Tong Yue Festival

Before the celebration of Christmas, the Chinese will celebrate an important festival on this coming Saturday, which we called it as "Dong Zhi". Every Family member will gathered together to make "Tong Yue".

On that day, my mom will cook some simple dishes for praying for the ancestor. This is a simple thanksgiving ceremony. At night, mom will prepare the dough for making "Tong Yue". I love this festival because my sister and I have the chance to learn the process of making Tong Yue.

"Tong Yue" symbolize happiness, unite to one family. My sister and I love eating "Tong Yue" because it's using ginger and "gula Melaka" for the soup.My dad doesn't like to eat "Tong Yue" because he said we will getting older after eating this dessert.

Nowadays, we can see "Tong Yue" sell at every supermarket. There are many flavour available such as peanut, sesame and red bean. I had tried that before but I still prefer the home-made one because it's more original.

According to my beloved grandmom, she said that if there have rain during Dong Zhi, so it will no rain during the Chinese New Year.

15 days more to approach New Year....By then I still can save a happy memory which I spend yesterday. Usually me and hubby feel headache and ask each other what to eat for dinner. I don't want to give him any idea anymore because when I choose to dine at some special restaurant, he would said I always want choose expensive food. So, I let him make the decision. For me, I would like to eat some special food during weekends because I had been very thrifty during the weekdays, so I hope to pamper myself to have a nice weekends. Besides, I can't face with the same food every meal.

Actually, he is going to bring me for a buffet dinner at Sibaraku, Mahkota Parade, but the supervisor told me that I had to wait for my turn for almost 1 hour and there are still many people queue outside for their turn. We are both the impatient type, so we gave up dining at Sibaraku.

Any good ideas?? Hmmmm.....how about we try the food at Taro Restaurant? We straight away went to Dataran Pahlawan, which is just opposite to the Mahkota Parade. Wow....its look like a five star hotel. There is a water fountain and the surrounding is so romantic. The most important things are the service is really good. Of course human beings like to be served well and not to serve people.

I had ordered a fish fillet and my hubby dish is ‘nasi lemak’, there are three types of chicken you can choose ‘rendang, curry or satay’. He had choose ‘rendang’. Yummy,,yummy….the taste is so good for the ‘nasi lemak’ and my fish fillet is simple and nice. After eating, how about the toilet? The toilet is clean.

I love the surrounding so much so I keep asking the services provided. The supervisor told me that we can also held a party or any dinner here for buffet style. My hubby also loves the atmosphere here, he asked me to have my birthday party at this restaurant next year. Haha, sure I like it and hopefully my dreams come true. I had been informed that we need to have minimum 30 persons to book the place. After the buffet, they can arrange to have a dance.

I slept soundly yesterday night because I have had a wonderful, unforgettable night with my hubby and Nelson. So, this is a good memory for me in 2007.

In 2007, I become happier than before because my hubby’s got promotion and sure his salary had been increased. This had made my life more comfortable but everything seemed to cost an arm and a leg nowadays. The happiest memory is I see Nelson’s tummy becoming bigger and bigger, he can now count number 1 to number 10, by my guidance. He loves eating and he enjoys every meal. He gives us a lot of happiness by the way he mimic our talking style and making such lovely faces. At first, I was so scared to look after him but now I hope he can be with me all the time. Even I feel tired everyday but I feel my life is meaningful.

First Cooking Experience

All my friends from blogger are so expert in cooking. So, I had try out a simple recipe, fry vermicelli.
I feel nothing to do during my holidays. I had bought all these ingredients at Pasar Malam. The costs is only RM5 including vermicelli, cabbage, carrot, fish cake, bean sprout, dried shrimps. This was the first time I cooked. It was a spur of the moment decision.
I had used 25 minutes to prepare the ingredients and then I tried to cook by using my own ways. The cooking times is about 20 minutes. I only put in a little salt, soy sauce and pepper. Look at the picture above, it looks tasty right? It's enough to feed 5 persons. Actually, it isn't as tasty as you think. It's so tasteless. It's not delicious at all. This make me realized that we actually eat plenty of salt from the outside food.Besides, outside food is so expensive and sometimes dirty.
I had set my heart to learn some cooking skills. So, this can ensure good health to my family.Do you know what my hubby said? He said it is tasty. For him, the vermicelli is tasty simply because it's cooked by his wife.....

Stage 2

During the weekend, all the students from Chinese Society will go out together. I think I only joined them 2 times for gathering. For me, I don't have so much time because I need to do well in my studies. Ah ..ha...It's a semester break again. I was so happy because I no need to stay at the hostel anymore and can be at home soon, I missed my bed, my home, and sure I missed my parents.

On the second day, I received a terrible call from somebody, is a guy..an old fashion guy. He dares to call me up since we had only know each other for 3 months. He had made a quick moves. What have we talk about? Very banal conversation lor. After many times we chat through the phone, he asked me a strange question which I don't know how to answer him. I was so stupid at that time. He asked me weather he had chance to date with me. I was so shocked. I was nervous at that time and refused to talk some more. What to do? What to do? Who can help me in this type of problem? It was hard to believed that I am going out with such a "kolot boy". I was from a girl high school, so I probably don't know how to communicate with guy.

One sunny day, he came Malacca by Orkid bus. I picked him up at the bus station. We went to shop at Mahkota Parade. he bought me a bunch of pink roses, going for a movie. We just loitering around the mall by hand in hand the whole day. Happy times seem flying fast, is times for him to go back to his hometown. He wants to visit my parents but I refused. Then, I send him to the bus station. He gave me a good bye kiss before he went down from my car. Oh, no! Will a pregnant ( just joking). I was so shy and I don't believe such an incredible incident will happen in my life.

My Life

Stage 1

Besides running my own errands, I need to take care of my lovely son. I don’t like doing household chores. It’s so tired and meaningless. Since the Chinese New Year is approaching after Christmas, I planned to employ a temporary Indonesia maid to help me clean up my house.

Sometimes, I feel GOD is good enough to me because I can marry I great, mature man. He is so old fashion. He doesn’t have any bad habits such as gambling or smoking. For me, his bad habits are snoring while sleeping, workaholic, and love reading newspaper, clumsy and sometimes stupid in solving problems. He will try his best to fulfill my demand. He is now very busy with his company project and his MBA course, so I don’t have much time to spend with him. I think he talks more to his boss than me, and stay at his workplace more than stay at home.

My sweet memory with him is the time we first met, at our campus. This is such a good memory in my deep heart which I will never, never feel it again in my future. His look is so old fashion, wearing a cheap t-shirt with a trouser – not a branded one, a FOC bag pack, don’t know from which “kilang”, an ugly pair of shoes. I asked myself that why still have this type of guy studying in university. So “kolot” one! I seldom talked to him because we are not in the same course and he is the third year students.

His first impression really doesn’t make me interested in making friends with him. Now, he is my lovely hubby, who takes good care of me and be my spouse in my future. That’s whylah, we can’t criticize people in our life.

Dancing Santa Claus

I had taken this video at Dataran Pahlawan which is a newly open shopping mall in Malacca. There are a lot of branded things sold inside such as MNG, Espirit, Padini, Mickey and so on. On the upstairs of this shopping mall, is a IT centre which sell different brand of handphone and laptop. Carrefour will be open beside of it and soon Malacca will become a shopping paradise.
If you visit to Malacca, don't lose the chance to spend sometimes here.

Making Faces

He loves eating. My mom always gives him "san zha". See, looks like his father.

This looks like old uncle face..but is special. It's not easy to snap this type of photo. See, his teeth is not that orderly.
I love seeing this face, is naughty and cute. He likes kissing me when he makes me angry. Cunning Baby.

I hate seeing this type of face, really don't understand what he wants? I won't bother about him for a while if he keeps nagging. But, sometimes my methods didn't work .

Nowadays, Nelson likes to make faces. I don't know from where he learns all this. Every times he does this I will warn him not to do it again cause it's ugly.

Looking after a child is not an easy task. We will sometimes feel angry with them, but we will feel happy too when they be with us all the days and brighten up our life.

Noisy Neighbour

My neighbor has 4 daughter and a son. His house has 3 cars. This uncle likes to show off by saying that he will surely change a new car every five years. He always warn his children not to being friends with those who are poor. One of his daughter is a primary school teacher. Being a teacher suppose to have good personality and know to respect others. Every times she comes home, she will definitely horn her car even they had fixed a remote control auto gate. Normally, I will have the chance to hear "Beep...beep" This is OK, maybe this is hers characters.
Lately, I really don't know what make her so excited during her holidays? She horn her car..Beep, beep...beep,beep,beep...beep..beep..which repeating 2 times per day.OMG, I had to face the music. I really can't bear with this since she had done this stupid action for almost 2 weeks.
Last Saturday, around 2p.m, Nelson just fall asleep after rocking him for half an hour. Soon,he woke up after hearing the car's horn. I was so angry. I opened up my window and then said : " Miss, do you know I have a 2 years old baby, he is sleeping now." She seems like nothing happen and walked into hers house. What kind of lady she is? Don't she have civil awareness? Don't she feel shame or be considerate to others people? I told my hubby that sound pollution had happen in our housing area. I would get mad if she doesn't stop her action.
If you guys don't see me blogging some more, surely will be in the Tg.Rambutan.

Persimmon

During the end of the year I will feel happy because I had chance to enjoy my favorite fruit, persimmon. Persimmon is a kind of imported fruit. Some will likes to eat it when it was completely ripe. But, for me I like both taste, the ripe one is sweeter and the unripe one is crunchier. Persimmon is a seasoning fruit, we can’t eat it the whole year.

I still remember when I was 8 years old my grandma loves to eat this fruit. So, my aunts will buy some to her. Every time she eats persimmon, she will gives me half, that’s why I loves persimmon now.

My grandma had passed away when I was in Form 2. She is a kind grandma who gives me a lot of loves. Both my parents had to work to earn a living because many mouth to feed. So, I live with my grandma during my childhood. My grandma loves cooking also, the food she cooked is so delicious and tasty, but I had no chance to taste it some more. I hope she still have persimmon to eat in the heaven and I missed her so much.

I dreamt about her sometimes. I tried to talk to her every time but failed. I have many stories to tell her about my life. I want to let her know that I am a big girl already and I will try my best to achieve my dreams and hopefully she is well in the heaven. What will a human do normally when they are going to heaven? Someone told me that it is similar like human who live in the earth. For those who usually do bad thing, they will surely go to the hell and not heaven.

Well, do try persimmon today. I love this fruit and I can eat 2-3 per day. This had make me think what to do with my persimmon to turn to other ways of eating, which I mean for baking a cake with persimmon or making a cup of persimmon juice. I know that all of my friends in blogging is expert in cooking. So, do let me know if all of you have any idea or new recipe to do with this persimmon?

Chinese Medicine

No ants around and effective.

This is the medicine from 24hours clinic, it's surrounded by ants.

Today is Thursday again. Times fly fast. I had visited to the Yong Traditional Health Recovery Centre once again yesterday. Since Nelson is just recovered from fever, he still had bad cough after taking the medicine from the 24 hours clinic. So, I bring him along to Yong Traditional Health Recovery Centre. Me, as usual, have to take the same medicine like last time which I had show in my blog but the doctor only gave Nelson 2 bottles of herb mixture in black colour and look bitter. He needs to drink 20ml of this mixture 3 times per day.

The doctor advised me not to let Nelson eat biscuit,milo,chocolates,butter and cheese until he had totally recover. Normally, we as parents will let our children eat biscuit and think it is very common, right? I was so curious and keep asking about the reason. He said eating biscuit create phlegm in his throat.

After taking the herb mixture, Nelson can sleep soundly without coughing until the next morning. This is miracle. He doesn't drink enough 20ml this morning and had pour out some of the mixture on my bed. Aiyah, had to wash bed sheet during this rainy weather.

The doctor name is Dr.Yong Wee Siong. This recovery centre is specialist in Angio Cordiopathy, Gastroenterology, Arthritis, Stroke and others general Sickness. He owned quite a number of certificate in medical.

As a occlusions, we have to try some Chinese traditional medicine if we are sick.

Who Was Santa Claus?

Santa Claus? Who is Santa Claus? He is a person who everybody like to be friends. The original Santa Claus, St. Nicholas, was born in Turkey in the 4th century. He had devoting his life to Christianity.
He became widely-known for his generosity to the poor, but Romans imprisoned and torture him. When Constantine became emperor of Rome, he allowed Nicholas to go free. St Nicholas soon became the patron saint of Russia. St.Nicholas is especially noted for his love of children, becoming the patron saint of children. The Dutch kept the legend of St.Nicholas alive and in 16th century Holland, Dutch children would place their wooden shoes by the hearth in hopes that they would be filled with a treat. The Dutch spelled St.Nicholas as Sint Nikolaas, which became corrupted to Sinterklaas, and finally, to Santa Claus. In 1822, Clement C.Moore composed his famous poem,"A Visit from St.Nick," which gave us the modern image of Santa Claus as a jolly fat man in a red suit, riding a sleigh drawn by eight flying reindeer.
I had just know this story of Santa Claus. So, is it really a true story?Sometimes, I am wondering about the present of Santa Claus. If Santa Clause still alive today, sure our Christmas celebration will be unforgettable.

Sex Education

According to Utusan Malaysia which is our Malaysia Malays Press, our society problems is getting serious. Rape cases had been increase 31.5% from Jan-Sept, 2007.

Statistic shows that there are 2432 cases reported this year if compared to last year 1849 cases. 70% of the victims are under 18 years of age. So, I was wondering why is this problem happen in our country? Our country, Malaysia is so rich and we are proud to be Malaysian because we can live in a different cultural, different religion, different language spoken country without fighting.

The number shown are only the reported cases, so how about the unreported cases? As a parent, they should give some basic sex education to their children. Pointing a finger over the school is not a correct way. The parents should be responsible if something bad happen.

I had known a rape case which happens to a 3 years old girl. The parents did not take any action due to lacking of evidence and others complicated relationship. So, what to do? Hoping the poor little girl will forget everything when she reaches adulthood. The boy who rapes the girl is only 17nyears old and he had started viewing the pornography films when he was 13 years old. In Buddhism, I strongly believed that recompensation for good deeds and retribution for evil deeds.
