I went to Gxxxx yesterday just to buy some stuff. Actually I am going to survey the price of rice. According to the newspaper and hearsay, the price of rice went up drastically. Wow, what an unbelievable. T he price of rice is now RM 43 if compare to last time RM 25. Sign, what happen?
This will totally affect our monthly expenses; definitely the price of Claypot Chicken Rice which is my favourite will soon rise. Besides, all the prices of our daily food will be affected.
This day, Nelson will choose his favour stuff at supermarket. He buys Nutrigen again. I didn’t notice about the expiry date because I think no supermarket will sell expired products to customer. After we reached home, while I am putting his favour into the fridge, I saw that EX.date : 06/05/08. Then, I was wondering about yesterday actual date. I asked my hubby. He said today is 10/05/08.
My hubby called the supervisor there. The purpose is hoping he can keep away all the expired Nutrigen. In return, he said we can change our purchase back tomorrow. Sign, this is just wasting my time and my petrol to Gxxxx again.

thanks why not many people go to Giant...and their price is always misleading. a lot of people got cheated before.
Hmm luckily you saw the expiry date.
I stopped going to Giant ages ago. Glad you saw the expired date before anyone drank it ...
i dont like giant, they tipu us with the price tag, saying this product is RMXXX but when paying at the cashier, its RMYYY. then if return product, they give back voucher and it has to be used in 1 mth time, where else other hypermarket, return money.
the staff there like tidak apa, all tak boleh pakai!
lucky thing you discovered the expired date!
good thing you saw the date.. I experienced the same thing too and also from G****. But I call the manufacturer and they sent their sales people with replacements goods as well as other product to me.. hehe.. no need to waste petrol!
yeah, u shld demand for them to exchange yr products otherwise all newspapers will come to know abt it and bloggers will blog abt it ..... hehehe
they will repeat it again as they have not been exposed and managed to cover up every time
again, its profiteering at customer's expense.
