Wanna Have One???

These are my dear son favorite chips, I don't allow him to eat because he is suffered from the sore throat yesterday and a little flu. My hubby told me not to buy to much food this year since the economy is not good.

I had reuse this small basket for chocolate wafer. This basket is actually a hamper basket my friend presented me last year. It is still look new and pretty.

My mom found this candy tray from her store room during her "sweeping day". Since I don't have one proper candy tray for the Chinese New Year, so she gave me this.

This is our traditional candy tray. Varieties of sweets and candy can be put inside the small bowl for our guests. This is a must among the Chinese. Wanna Have One???

Jonker Walk, Malacca.

This is a nice view for the whole Jonker Walk, Malacca. I can't even snap a photo with Nelson because this Jonker Street is too crowded.

After 5 days, it will be the year of OX in Chinese lunar calendar. So, you can see Ox figurine and picture everywhere. The head of this Ox at Jonker Walk, Malacca will move up and down and the wheel will also moving all the time.

The atmosphere at Jonker Walk,Malacca is really chaos and full of happiness for the coming Chinese New Year. I like to see all these decoration with varieties of lantern around because it symbolize our celebration for this special festival and also let all the foreign visitors getting to know our cultural.

On that night, we are so lucky enough to see this dragon dance performance. This is the first time Nelson enjoy the show at Jonker Walk, Malacca.

My New Comfy Shoes

The Chinese New Year will soon approaching, seems that every one is so busy preparing for the coming New Year. Me too, have to clean up and tidy up the whole house. It's really tire. Last Saturday, we went shopping at Jusco Malacca to look for something new. Finally, I found a pair of comfy shoes at Jusco. Even my new shoes is quite expensive, I love it so much and it's really suitable for my big foot. There is another pink colour for this pattern but is already sold out. I am wonder why there are still many people who can afford to buy expensive things during this economy crisis. Actually, I prefer the pink colour than this black one, but there is no more free time for me to shop at others shopping mall because we will rushed back to Batu Pahat on this Friday evening.

This is my dear hubby shoes. After seeing me buying a pair of branded shoes, he also bought this Camel sandal. He needs to wear branded and long lasting shoes because his shoes is always spoilt in 5 months time, so it's better for him to purchase a pair of good quality shoes. My hubby is a stingy man but he is a Camel product's fans. Red packets are given as a free gift.

Nelson's New Cupboard

My dear son is growing now. Sometimes, it's really like a dream that I own a 4 years old son. Times really flies. Hubby had bought a new cupboard for him to last week. At first, he wanted to buy this cupboard with the pictures of Spiderman. After telling him that I am scared of the Spiderman picture, Nelson soon agree to have this cupboard with Doremon pictures. After the worker delivered this cupboard to our home, Nelson do help me hang up all his new clothes. He is so happy with this cupboard. I want him to share this cupboard with his coming siblings but he don't allow. He is a stingy and selfish kid.

Nelson still crying during the time he reaches school. But, the teacher told me that he is fine after I had left. Every morning, I have to coax him with his uniform and he keeps telling me that he doesn't want to go to school. I think he still need more time to adapt with the new surrounding in school.

Do you like SUSHI?

When my hubby's factory shut down for ten days, we really have a great time. Last Friday, we actually planned to have a movie at the cinema which situated at Dataran Pahlawan, Malacca, but we failed to do so as the show time is not suitable for us as my hubby got another appointment with his friend at 5:00p.m. We arrived there around 12:30p.m. but the show will be start at 2:30p.m.It means the show will be finish at 4:30p.m. It will be Nelson first time watching movie at the cinema.

So, we went to have some light meal at a Sushi restaurant. This restaurant is having promotion for special discount for 50% per plate during 2:00p.m till 5:00p.m. We almost have 20 over plate which cost us about RM 30++. The taste is quite nice but I still prefer to dine sushi at Sushi King. If discount is not given, that means we need to pay RM 60++ as the amount we have sushi at Sushi King.

At there, I noticed something. There is no one customer around during the lunch time but when the time almost reached 2:00p.m, everyone rushed in the restaurant to have their meal. I think this happen due to the economy crisis because we are better saved for a rainy day.

My Pity Nelson

During the first day to school, Nelson refused to wear his uniform. I also don't understand why is he so scare of wearing the uniform to school. I woke him up from bed early in the morning because I know I need more time to coax him to go to the school. When I look at his sour face, I feel pity of him too. Sometimes, I feel they are really pity to attend to the school during their young age. When I see my dear Nelson crying, I hope to bring him home as soon as possible. He is only a 4 years old boy who need a happy childhood.

On the second day to school, he is willing to wear his uniform. Do you know how I deal with it? I let him spray some of his "Papa" perfume on his uniform. He was so excited. After came back from school, he told me that he only cry as many as two times for a little while only.

Today, his third day to school. At first, he doesn't want to wake up and keep telling me he doesn't want to go to his kinder. After much persuasive by telling that I will accompany him at the kinder, he finally wear his uniform and go to school. He asked me to accompany him for longer time.I just coming back from his kinder because the teacher not allow me to stay at there. Sigh! Being a mom is really difficult.

Happy Schooling

Today is Nelson first day to school, kindergarten 4 years class. He refused to wear his uniform today as others children. I also don’t understand what is wrong with the uniform. So, he wears his casual shirt and trouser to school today.

At first, I ask him the direction to his school because hubby and I had brought him to visit his kinder before. But, Nelson told me that the school had disappeared already. Then, I asked him where is “Daddy”. He said his daddy is going to work today. Sigh! He is such a smart boy.

The teacher in the kinder not allows me to accompany Nelson at the kinder. They keep asking me to go home and said they will hand Nelson well. I am so scared that Nelson cannot make himself comfortable with the new surroundings. There is only one parent, it’s me the last to leave the school. I will go out once more time during his break at 10:30a.m because I am still worry about him.
